Joy of RunningAt the start of this year I had one race on the calendar, a half marathon in June. It was my motivation to regain fitness after having my son. Training was mostly a grind but the result was worth it - by building some fitness, running became fun again.
I ended up running 3 more races this year, including my first ever Turkey Trot! My preparation was never ideal but that didn’t matter. I enjoyed working toward the goals and simply doing my best on race day. In this way, I feel a distinct commonality with every person I coach. Each runner is different - in strengths, goals, ability, and experience - but shared among us is a desire to improve and genuine enjoyment of the process. It has been my pleasure to spend another year helping runners get fitter and faster. To my clients - thank you for trusting me with your training and making me part of your success. And to those I don’t know - thank you for following along. I hope you’ll put some of the training resources offered here to good use. Happy New Year! Sincerely, Nicole
