Lining Up

After months of training, race season is finally underway. But months of training doesn’t always mean we’re totally ready to toe the start line.

We need more than miles and workouts to ensure we’re ready for race day.

We want our hard work to pay off!

We want that great RESULT.

Making that happen takes a different kind of training - mental training.

Mental training helps us actually do what we trained to do.

By developing the skills to manage challenges like nervousness, discomfort, and doubt, we set ourselves up for success on race day.

Breathing techniques, positive mantras and visualization are just some of the many strategies that we runners (and all humans!) can use to get the best out of ourselves.

Not sure where to start? Keep reading! On race day, you’ll be lining up more prepared than ever before.

Sincerely,
Nicole
