Meet the Coach

Nicole Sifuentes, OLY, CSCS

Nicole is a 2-time Olympian with 20 years of running and racing experience. She is a former professional athlete and represented team Saucony & Team Canada for the last decade.

Nicole’s specialty as a pro was the 1500m (known as the “metric mile”) and she currently holds the Canadian indoor record in the event.

She began coaching at the NCAA D1 level in 2015 with the University of Michigan - her alma mater. Having recently retired from international athletic competition, Nicole now coaches running full-time. She recently earned the coveted designation of Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and includes strength training for runners in her services.

Nicole coaches adult runners of all ages and abilities as they work toward their goals from the mile up to the marathon. She has a passion to offer high-level, totally individualized coaching to anyone who wants to improve their running.

Nicole lives with her husband Antonio and their cat Spot near Detroit, Michigan. Together they enjoy relaxing at home, cooking and listening to music. She loves getting fit (being fit!) and helping others get fitter and run faster.
