CBC #OurAthletes

A few days ago, I was officially named to Team Canada for the Pan Am Games! In addition, I've been selected by CBC for a program called #OurAthletes which aims to connect athletes with their local communities through social media. In the weeks leading up to Pan Ams, I will be blogging for CBC Manitoba about my life as a runner and my preparation for the Games. 

Although I now live in Michigan, my running career was established on a firm foundation of support in Winnipeg. Winnipeg will always be a place I call home and where my love for this sport was born. I'm thrilled that CBC has given me this opportunity to introduce myself to my hometown and all of Manitoba.
