Saucony Endorphin Pro 3: My Review

**Please note I purchased these shoes for my own use. This is not a sponsored post.

At this point everyone knows I’m a big fan of super shoes. I’ve already written about how and why super shoes are great, and I just got myself a new pair: the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3. I always buy the second-most recent model of shoes because they cost a lot less than whatever the newest model is.

I paid $143 for these, while the Endorphin Pro 4 is currently being sold for $225.

My previous super shoes were the original Saucony Endorphin Pro, and the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3.

FIT: The fit is true to size in my opinion. While this is the first pair of Saucony I have ever worn 9.5, (previously wore size 9) my feet are a bit bigger than they used to be. All my other sauconys in 9 feel a bit too small now.

They uppers are kind of high at the back, and I got a little hot spot on my achilles wearing them at first.

I have narrow feet and they fit pretty well. While they’re definitely not as narrow as the original Endorphin Pro I probably wouldn’t recommend them for very wide feet.

I have high arches and these do not really support my arches but are starting to mold to my foot shape already as I break them in. I’ll spend some extra time rolling my arches as I get used to wearing these.

RIDE: I love the way these shoes make me feel while I’m running. As a natural heel striker, I respond really well to the way the endorphin pro 3 shoes help shift the body forward and into a slightly more aggressive body position for running fast. I’ve worn these for a half-marathon, some long runs, interval workouts and short hill repeats, and I like them for all.. As with my previous Endorphin runners, these make me feel excellent and powerful especially for hill repeats.

Ever since we started wearing super shoes, my husband and I have called our non-super shoes our “trash shoes” because when we wear them our legs feel like trash compared to the super shoes. The Endorphin Pro 3 is no exception- they make the legs feel really good. I prefer these over any other shoes because I always want to feel good while I’m running. That being said, I don’t wear the for easy days or base mileage.

LOOK: I like how these shoes look. The colourway I have was not my first choice (my size wasn’t available in my top choice) but I have no complaints. I like that they don’t look insanely aggressive like some super shoes (for example the Saucony Endorphin Elite looks a bit over the top). I like that the sole isn’t white because they won’t show dirt as easily.

DURABILITY: To Be Determined. I just got these about 2 months agol. My previous Endorphin Pros and Speeds held up really well.
